To the left is a photo that I took a year and a half of my daughter being swaddled in one of the Ultimate Swaddle blankets. Wow, I can't believe how much she has grown since this photo was taken. Even though I don't really swaddle anymore, it doesn't mean that I don't use the blankets... far from that. This blanket is light weight, but at the same time can be warm when needed since it's flannel. It easily fits in my diaper bag, and barely takes up any room. Even though we're in the summer months, this blanket gets used when we're out, as most places are air conditioned.

My daugther will be 16 months old tomorrow, and I can't believe how quickly she's growing. It seems like I notice a difference on a daily basis, and I can't believe the time has passed so quickly. My daughter is just a little over 16 months old, and I can't believe how quickly she's growing. It seems like just yesterday she was born, and was so tiny in my arms. I look back at all the photos that I've taken along the way, and I don't know where the time has gone. I have a huge collection of photos on my phone and on social media, and I just can't seem to get enough. I've become one of those parents that snap a photo for pretty much anything, and sharing it with family and friends.

Since time passes so fast, it wasn't until recently that I was able to have my daughter christened. My partner and I had been trying for almost half a year, but the requirements of the church was quite complicated. It took us that long to come up with the proper documents for the godmother and godfather, that she was over a year old when it was finally completed. I think the best part of the whole ordeal was the purchasing of the beautiful baptism and white communion dresses, and the excitement of getting her dressed up.

I have always been a creative type of person, and it started at an early age. My mother had me involved in so many things growing up... stuff like skating, dancing, Brownies and Girl Guides, playgroups, and enrolled me into an arts school. My cutie patootie is just shy of turning 1 year, and she's out of the swaddle stage. I can't believe how quick she's grown... it feels like it was just yesterday that I brought her home from the hospital. Just because I no longer swaddle her, doesn't mean that I don't use all the swaddle blankets that I have at home. I'm always using them, whether it's to keep her warm and cozy in bed at night, or if I wrap one around her legs when she's in the stroller. I personally believe that you can never have too many baby blankets at home, as they get spit up on or pooped/peed on! It never fails, there's always some type of diaper explosion while out, so I always have an extra one packed in the diaper bag.

I can't believe how quickly time flies by... it was this time last year I was contacting baby companies regarding reviewing their products. Now my little monkey is going on eleven months old, and I can't believe where the time went. She was born July of last year, and I treasure every step that I've passed with her along the way. I worked with the company SwaddleDesigns at that time, and set up a product review and giveaway for the holiday season. I had enjoyed four months of testing out their Ultimate Swaddle Lolli Fleur in the colour pink. Now I've had the items for a bit of time prior to writing this review, because as you know, the life of a new mom is quite hectic. This past week my daughter turned ten months old. I can't believe how fast the time goes, and how quickly she's been growing. I cherish every moment I spend with her, and try to snap as many photos to help make memories last longer. There's some regular activities that her and I do daily, but one of her favorites is story-time. Every day after lunch, just before nap-time, I read her a couple children's books. She has her favorites, but I noticed that she loves the personalized ones... there's a few floating around at home. She recently received a personalized book from KD Novelties, and she was super excited. The book is actually meant for her 1st birthday, however, she was lucky enough to get a quick view of it before her big day!

I was sent a coupon code from the company, so that I could purchase it from their website just like any other customer. It was incredibly simple the whole process... I think the hardest part was trying to decide which book to go with! They have a good section of books for all ages of children, and plenty of other items that you can personalize as well, like puzzles, dvd's and music.

Looking at the screenshot below, you can see truly how simple it was... it asked for the age of the child, full name (I erased the middle and last name for privacy), and the option for friends and loved one's to be included in the book as well. The overall look of the website is simple, super cute and eye catching, and 100% user friendly.

My little munchkin was born this past July, and it's been a fun journey so far. She's going on five months now, and a day doesn't go by that I'm not amazed by her. My little Munchkin is almost 4 months old, and the time is flying by fast. She's growing so quickly, with her cute pudgy baby rolls! I'm in my early 30's, and half of my friends are having kids or already started a family. I've had a miscarriage in the past, but haven't been successful having children until now.
