For those of you who read my blog on a regular basis, you would know that I'm pregnant with my first child. You would also know that I've struggled over the years with infertility, and quite a number of other health problems. So it's a true blessing that I've made it as far as 37 weeks pregnant, and my little angel is healthy and strong. With that said, one of the first things that I did once I passed the first trimester, was contact companies regarding baby products. The very first company that responded and was excited to work with me... Freshly Picked!

They're a company that creates gorgeous handmade moccasins, in many different colors, patterns, and sizes. The company was started by Susan Petersen in 2009, a mother who was frustrated by the lack of well-designed shoes for babies and toddlers. She started out by sewing the first few pairs from her own kitchen table... a mother who had a vision and was determined to create only the best.

When I come across a company that I like, I enjoy spreading the news with my readers... which is why I took my time creating this post. I love supporting family businesses, especially moms and anything children related. How I came across the website originally, I forget... but I'm glad that I did. I instantly fell in love with the adorable little angels modeling their products, and couldn't stop dreaming about when my little angel will be able to sport their stuff. I already know that I'm having a little girl, so I had to select something girly and cute... which wasn't hard! Since she's not born yet, I will be sharing personal photos once she arrives.

I was sent the Frosted Rose pair of moccasins, which are part of a limited edition. The pictures don't do them justice, as they are truly a work of art. They arrived fairly quick once the order was placed, and were packaged perfectly for stress free shipping. They arrived without any damages, and were placed in a super cute little cloth drawstring bag that sports their logo. The moccasins are 100% genuine leather, and feature an elastic opening. The leather is excellent quality, and is super soft to the touch... perfect for gentle skin. They come in sizes 0-10, perfect for newborns and toddlers alike.
