I'm in hell
Hey everyone! I'm not feeling that great today, and trying to keep myself busy. Last night was a terrible night for me, the anxiety was uncontrollable. I felt like I was going to have a panic attack, my stomach bothered me, had a terrible headache, and I actually had color changes. The withdrawal from coming off of Cymbalta is incredible, and I'm almost losing my mind. Never in a million years did I think it would be this hard to come off this drug, but I'm literally in hell right now. I've only cut my dose from 60mg to 30mg so far, and next week that gets cut to 15mg. I'm terrified to find out what the next two weeks are going to be like. I'm just ill thinking about it.

What's the best way to lose weight?
When people are very hungry, they think longingly of their favorite dishes. Mom's famous pasta. Fried chicken like only that little place down the road can make. German chocolate cake. We yearn for foods that are burned into our emotional memory -- meals shared with loved ones, in places we were happy. There's a reason the phrase "comfort food" came into existence.
It's chemical, too. Sugar and starch set the switch to "on" for serotonin and salty foods for oxytocin . Those are the same chemicals involved in Prozac and orgasms, respectively.

5 Ways Your Brain Influences Your Emotions
Sadness from heartache, elation at finding a long-lost friend, anxiety before a job interview... you might like to think you're completely in control of what you feel and that you understand what causes those feelings. But your brain can be sneaky sometimes.
A lot is going on inside your head, and your brain and its complex processes are even manipulating your emotions. In other words, there's way more behind that angry feeling than the car that just cut you off. Much is involved in interpreting emotional circumstances and crafting your responses to them, and your brain is affecting how you feel and how you respond to those feelings in ways you're probably not even aware of. This leads us to ask: What's going on up there, and just how is your brain influencing your emotions?

Toilet Joke!
My mom just sent me this in an email. I found it cute and had to re-post!
OMG !!!!! I was in the public toilets and had just sat down, a voice from the next cubicle said "Hi !, how are you ?" Embarrassed, I said, "I'm doing fine". The voice said "So what are you up to ?". I said, "Just doing the same as you, sitting here !". From next door, "Can I come over?". Annoyed, I said " rather busy right now". The voice said, "Listen, i will have to call you back, there's an idiot next door answering all my questions".

Haha... Very Funny Mom... You Trying to Hint at Something?!
My mom sent this to me in an email to see what I would say. It gave me a bit of a laugh... enjoy!
I recently visited a mental asylum and I asked the director, "how can you know when a person needs to be institutionalized?" He said, "Well, we fill a bathtub with water and we offer them a teaspoon, a teacup and a bucket and ask them to empty the tub." I said, "I see...a normal person would choose the bucket because it is bigger." He responded, "No. A normal person would pull the plug...would you like a bed by the window?"

Mid Week Medical Update
I don't know what's wrong with me, I'm just so incredibly tired. I can't get enough sleep. My eyes are burning, and I have a headache. It probably has something to do with the Prozac increase from the other day. Plus last night was very stressful for me... Tornado watch here in Toronto. Nothing touched down, but had some crazy weather. In all my years, I have never seen such a light show like last night. My anxiety really did a number on me last night, and now I'm feeling the after effects.
I would also like to update everyone on Mr Jingles... he's doing quite good. Yesterday after the vet he was quite out of it, still stoned from the drugs they gave him for surgery. I'm happy to say he's got his appetite back today, and is meowing and purring like his normal self. His blood work came back normal, and his x-rays show that there's no bladder or kidney stones. We have come to the conclusion that Mr Jingles suffers from anxiety just like his mommy. So his peeing in mom's bed is a mood thing, and nothing physically wrong causing it. He's now two teeth less then before, and had his teeth cleaned. Damn, his teeth cost as much as if I was to get mine cleaned or pulled out. His gums are still quite sore, so once they heal a bit, I will start a routine of brushing his teeth. I don't want to have to put him through all this again, and I sure don't want to have to pay so much money.
I'm stressed regarding the money situation. $1300 for a vet bill is truly nuts, but the price you pay for the love of your pets. I would like to thank the people who donated to help me out... I will properly thank you shortly. It's nice to see there's still some people out there with a heart of gold.
If there's anyone who is still interested in helping me out with my vet bill, your generosity is greatly appreciated and won't be forgotten.

Punto FAPE: An Awesome Health/Fitness Site!
For those of you health freaks out there who follow and read my blog on a regular basis, I came across an awesome health and fitness website called Punto FAPE. It's originally written in Spanish, but you can easily translate to English or your language of preference. They have all kinds of categories of topics: Personal Care, Style, Fitness, Sports, Health, Nutrition, Leisure and feature daily articles.
I'm in Need of Some Help... Don't Know Who Else to Ask
I'm stressed like there's no tomorrow, and I have no idea what to do. My Prozac has been increased as of today, which I'm feeling a little crappy about, as well as I'm slowly coming off Cymbalta... so I feel like shit from that naturally. Well today was Mr Jingles appointment to have work done, and the quote made me nearly pass out. $1300 for what they have to do, and where in the world am I going to come up with that money? I've been off work because of my illness, and disability has fucked me over. I don't even know if I will have money for rent. Now I'm going to be throwing this vet bill on my credit card, and I have no idea where I'm going to get the money to pay it. I love my fur-baby, and no way would I ever put him down unless he was ill and in too much pain. Thank God that's not the case, but the bill is making me ill.
If by some chance anyone wants to donate and help me out with myself, and my fur-baby Mr Jingles... no words could really explain how thankful I would be. I too am an animal lover and have donated to animal charities in the past... if anyone is able to help out, I'd be so grateful. I'm embarrassed to even ask, but I don't know what else to do.

Anxiety Strikes Again
It's Monday morning, and I'm not feeling good at all. I woke up quite early, and I hate mornings. I fee like I could have a panic attack, and I'm trying so hard working on my breathing. Tried meditating, and that held it off for a bit, but I still feel like I'm going to have one. I'm sick of feeling this way, and thank God I'm seeing the psychiatrist tomorrow. I just want to feel normal again... when will that happen? I'm exhausted, and my body wants to sleep, but my anxiety is preventing it. I feel like I could jump out of my skin... it's hard to explain it unless you've had a panic attack yourself. Think happy thoughts... must try to think happy thoughts. Dammit, it's not working! I will update you all later, and hopefully by then I wont feel like this. Have a great Monday morning... hopefully better then mine.
The Latest Winners... Congrats!
It's time to announce some winners. Now there's a fairly big list... congrats to the winners!

Dear Grandma,
Boring Day
What a crazy day outside here in Toronto. It's the perfect day for sleeping in, since it's gloomy out. Of course I wasn't able to sleep in. I'm dead tired, yet I can't sleep. Does that make any sense? My eyes are burning, and I want to curl up under a warm blanket, and sleep the day away, but my anxiety is keeping me from doing that. It's thundering outside, so my cat is hiding of course! I'm so bored today, I guess I should probably get some product reviews taken care of. I'm just so tired... in a zombie state... can't concentrate.

I received an item for review, for my honest opinion. I was not compensated for this post. All opinions are my own, and others may vary.
California Exotic Novelties: Flexi Risque
It's that time of the month when I write a review, for a product from California Exotic Novelties. They are one of my favorite adult novelty companies, and offer a wide selection of toys, lingerie, and much more. This month I received the Flexi Risque toy in the color pink, and I have to say I was quite nervous and curious when I opened the package.

Aurora Softy Soakers ~ Giveaway!
I'm a woman in my early 30's, with no kids. Eventually I hope I will be able to have children, but at the moment I'm too much of a child at heart! One of my favorite children's companies: Aurora, contacted me recently regarding one of their latest toys... Softy Soakers. Since I'm a big kid myself, naturally I said sure when it comes to testing out a toy. Yes, I know I'm a little big to be playing with toys, but secretly, I will give it to my fiance's nieces to enjoy.
