The meals your kids eat will play a huge part in their mental and physical health. From when they are a toddler to the end of their teenage years, you’ve got to ensure they consume the right stuff. By staying nourished each day, they’ll be in a position to achieve so much. Here are a few specific ways to make this happen:

Early Familiarity Goes A Long Way

Many parents all over the world become either too strict or too lenient when it comes to their kids’ food. They either strike fear into their hearts or allow them to eat too much junk. By making certain meals a common part of life, you will allow them to become familiar with all the important foods. When kids become used to healthy meals and snacks from a young age, they know nothing else. Making them familiar with the right stuff will stop any kind of stress or pain when dealing with their eating habits during, say, their teenage years. It’s very common for kids all over the world to struggle in this regard — early familiarity will solve that issue.

The worst offenders are sodas, energy drinks and sports drinks... but they aren't the only ones. And don't forget the other sweet drinks, like flavored milks, coffees, teas, coconut waters and kombuchas.

Take a look at how many teaspoons of added sugars are in each of these sweet drinks:
