Think Thin: 101 Affirmations of Losing Weight and Keeping it Off (book) ~ Giveaway!

For as long as I can remember I've struggled with my weight. I've always yo-yo'd up and down, and it wasn't until recently that I finally lost over 100Lbs. If you're not a regular reader of my blog, you may be asking yourself... how did you lose that much weight? Well, after many failed attempts of losing weight, I finally decided on weight loss surgery. Now this isn't for everyone, but it was perfect for me and it was the best decision of my life. Having surgery doesn't mean that it's an easy battle... it's still a daily battle to chose the right foods to eat. Losing weight won't change the fact that I have an eating disorder, and that I have to work at it to be healthy. Recently I came across a book that I love... Thin(k) Think Thin: 101 Affirmations for Losing Weight and Keeping it off. It's a book filled with inspirational writing, to help keep you on track when it comes to dieting, and/or eating healthy.

This is a collection of positive thoughts which is meant to help you no matter what stage of your weight-loss journey you’re in. Read one page before you start your day, and work your way from cover to cover. Or, pick it up in a moment of weakness and flip randomly to whatever page you’re meant to land on. It is not a “how-to” guide for dieters. Follow whatever diet regime works for you, although as time goes along and you start to believe these wonderful things about yourself and how food can complement your life, not ruin it, perhaps diets will be a thing of the past. But for now, use this book to fill yourself with the positivity that you’re on the right path. You and you alone hold the key to a whole new world. It’s one in which you will allow yourself to live to your full potential, demonstrating both inside and out the best version of yourself possible.
