The BBC has created a nifty online calculator that uses simple data (sex, height, weight, age, location) to measure just how skinny or obese you are compared to the global average.

And while you are there, the calculator will also figure out your standing in a particular country.

Other cool features: A plotted graph of world averages, how much weight would be added or subtracted from earth’s surface if everyone in the world weighed the same as you, and which nationality (in your age and sex range) you most resemble.

I find it quite interesting... it says I'm most like someone from Qatar with my weight and age group! My family background is Scottish/Irish Canadian.
