Holiday Gift Guide: $50 Giveaway From #NOVICA #HolidayGiftGuide2016 #Giveaway

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

It's that time of year again, when people start thinking about shopping for the holiday season. I'm famous for having all my shopping completed early, and this year is no exception to that. In the spirit of Christmas, I'm working with a number of companies who have joined in my Holiday Gift Guide 2016... and this is my sixth post!

I'm born and raised in Canada, but I have to say I've always had a love for other parts of the world. I love living in Canada and being Canadian, and have a love for all types of art. I guess you can say I'm a bit of a dreamer, and wish to someday travel the world to enjoy a wider range of art. I came across an awesome website that showcases artists from around the world, where you can purchase their art: Novica. Novica is in association with National Geographic, and everyone has heard of them!

Novica features artists from around the world: Andes, Bali and Java, Brazil, Central America, India, Mexico, Thailand, and West Africa. By purchasing from Novica, you're helping those smaller companies and artists that may not have that much money. Visit Novica Live and find out how you can become a consultant, or even host your own Novica party!

Novica sells all kinds of items that would make for perfect gifts... women's robes, sarongs, floral bracelets, sterling silver filigree earrings, and much more! You can try out their new Gift Finder search tool, which is a tool to find the perfect gift. I personally have a love for anything unique, that would be hard to find anywhere. I like decor items that make for excellent conversation starters... I love adding to my collection.

I was sent a $50 gift certificate in order to do this review, that way I can have a full experience. The item that I ended up order is the  Colourful Striped Alpaca Sweater. For once I actually selected something for myself, as previously I would pick something that's for the home or an item meant for a gift. I can't wait to receive it!

I previously reviewed a cocktail ring, and The Winged Inca God Magazine Rack. Brandishing bird-scepters, the Inca god Wiracocha stands firmly in the firmament. The original divinity of the people of Tiahuanaco, this god emerged from the waters of Lake Titicaca. He created the heavens, the earth, and the first generation of giants who inhabited the land in total darkness. Wilfredo Rios creates the image in finely tooled leather to adorn a magazine rack. A loop at the top lets it be carried from room to room or be hung on the wall, but I personally prefer to keep it placed on the floor. I'm currently using mine in the living room, using it as a garbage can for my home office. No one likes the look of a regular garbage can, so I was happy to come across this gorgeous work of art.

I've also reviewed the item Beaded silk tunic, 'Maharani'. Lavish embroidery embellishes shimmering turquoise silk. Enhanced by beadwork and sequins, applied by hand, the motifs distinguish a regal blouse by Tanya Berry. Decorative loops and buttons border the neckline. With its mandarin collar and 3/4 length sleeves, this beautiful tunic slips over the head. The top is gorgeous and the pictures don't do this work justice. I loved how it was packaged and included a postcard from the artist with a thank you note. You can tell it's top quality, and they even offer an option if it's a gift.

I am so incredibly impressed with my new top, that I would buy from Novica again! In fact I actually already purchased one item as a Christmas gift already. Stay tuned for that product review closer to the holiday season! Are you looking to find a beautiful item for a gift? Well now is the perfect time to start your holiday shopping... click here!

I have also reviewed the Diamond Charm Bracelet in Black, "Solitary Om". It is centered by a sterling silver medallion featuring Om (also ohm or aum) written in Devanagari. The sacred incantation is intoned at the beginning and end of reading the Vedas, as well as before a prayer or meditation. This Om is studded with a solitary .01 diamond. The bracelet is braided by hand and can be adjusted to the desired length.

The bracelet is gorgeous, the pictures don't do it justice. The packaging was wonderful, came in a nice embroidered gift box that would make a cute little mini jewelry box, which was wrapped in special brown paper to protect it during shipping. It was then wrapped with a pretty embroidered ribbon, and included a thank you note on a post card from the original artist. Talk about excellent customer service again!

I've been fortunate to be able to review items quite a few times in the past, and have always been 100% satisfied each time... not only have I reviewed items, but I've also purchased items on my own as gifts. Yes, I like them that much that I've spent my own money!

Interested in grabbing something from them? Of course you are, their items are gorgeous... click here to see the new arrivals! Interested in checking out their FacebookTwitter, and Pinterest? Of course you are, you never know when you may come across a deal!

Thanks to Novica one lucky reader has a chance to win a $50 gift certificate to Novica. To qualify you must be 18+, and be a resident of US/CA.
