Teething Chart: & Orajel Coupons!

I came across this awesome teething chart this evening, since I was looking for a coupon for Orajel. My little monkey is almost 14 months, and she already has four teeth. I believe her next set of teeth are trying to pop through, and I'm all out of the Orajel Teething Pain Instant Relief gel. I was super excited to find this chart, and I must say that's it's true so far. It looks as though her upper lateral incisor's are ready to come through any day. I wanted to share this chart for all those moms out there!

Enjoying a Cup of Latte With My Organic Matcha From #matchaorganics

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

If you know me well, you would know that I love all things cold: ice cold water, iced coffee, and my favorite, iced tea. I'm addicted to tea and drink it daily, and have a nice collection. Tea has many health benefits, so I'm all for drinking it! I recently came across the company Matcha Organics, which offer two kinds of culinary grade green tea products. You may ask yourself, what is Matcha? Well, it's green tea that's been finely milled into a powder. Most teas come in the form that needs to be steeped and drained prior to drinking, but since matcha is in a powder form, you're able to take full advantage of it's health benefits.

The Japanese is known for their leading luxury teas. The Matcha is packed with plenty of health benefits.  It's considered the world's most powerful green tea, as well as being the best quality. It's made from a natural ingredient that comes from the Camellia sinensis herb, in which it undergoes a natural and complex process that involves both stone grinding and steaming. Once that process is done, the powdered green tea is vacuum-sealed into a pouch, or sealed in a tin... this keeps it from direct light, which helps preserve its natural antioxidant properties.

SOY AND PCOS: SAFE OR HARMFUL?

Are you confused about soy and are wondering if it’s safe for women with PCOS to eat? You’re not alone. One of the most confusing topics regarding nutrition and PCOS is soy. Here is what the latest research shows about soy for women with PCOS, infertility, and those with thyroid disorders and what we have to say about it.

What Is Soy?

Soy is a plant food that is also a complete protein, meaning it has all the required amino acids. It is also low in fat, contains essential fatty acids, numerous vitamins, minerals, and fiber. Unprocessed fermentable soy has been used as a diet staple by Asian cultures for thousands of years. Rates of processed soy have increased in the U.S. over the past decade.

Chillies and vodka… for longer, stronger hair?

Would you dare to try this hair mask? Mexican fashionistas swear by its hair raising benefits! And it’s simple – chop one jalapeño pepper into tiny pieces and place in a small ceramic bowl. Pour half a cup of vodka over the peppers and let soak for several days. Then strain out the jalapeños and rub a small amount of this tonic into the scalp every night for longer, stronger and shinier strands.

Why does this work? Jalapeños stimulate the scalp and boost circulation, thereby encouraging new hair growth.

Vodka, in the meantime, cleanses the scalp, removes product build-up and stimulates the growth of healthy tresses. It also de-frizzes and closes the hair cuticle by lowering its pH level.

What other miracle recipes do you have for me? Drink a little vodka every night, while flipping through my Kindle?

Candy For All Occasions

When you're making candy bouquets, you need to keep in mind the occasion and the person receiving the gift. Don't add a lot of candy to a bouquet for someone older who might not like a lot of sweet treats, and try to avoid a lot of candies with sugar for those who have diabetes as there are sugar-free options. You can create small bouquets for a child's class or other groups, such as those at a church or business.

Before you start making the bouquet, you need to find a container. The container should be large enough to hold the candies that will be added to the bouquet. Gather all of the candy that you will use in the bouquet before completing the gift. You should also create a plan of how you want the bouquet to look before adding the candy. Place a piece of Styrofoam in the bottom of the container so that you have a base to hold craft sticks. Some of the candy that you use will be glued or taped to craft sticks, so you need to have somewhere to put them in order for them to stay in place. Cover the Styrofoam with cellophane or colored paper so that it won't be seen in the container.

Help When You Need It Most...

Your 5-year-old son falls out of his bunk bed at 3 am in the morning and you're left wondering should you head down to "extra crowded general hospital" to get the urgent care you need or drive the extra distance to a less populated center. As you help your crying son get dressed for the trip to the hospital, your mind races. Is there any other emergency care facility you can take him to that would get him seen quicker? Or, will you be subject to the usually overcrowded emergency room that you are all too familiar with?

The Value of Emergency Care without the Wait...
The need for expedient urgent care is real and immediate. When you're faced with an emergency, regardless of the time, you want to know that the care you need can be obtained without an extra long wait and without driving to the next town to receive it. Having access to an emergency room in your community, that is well-equipped with the latest and best technology is extremely desirable to most. The peace of mind that having an emergency facility in your community creates, that is able to address your needs quickly and efficiently, is immeasurable and priceless.
