Day 6: 12 Days of Christmas Giveaways - Running Chics: Awesome Woman's Athletic Apparel - $50 Gift Certificate Giveaway!

Since my weight loss surgery over a year ago, I've been more concerned when it comes to health products. I've lost over 100 Lbs so far on my journey, and still looking to lose more. One of my favorite workout wear is from a company called Running Chics. I own a number of products of theirs, and I must say that they're awesome. They're a company that sells woman's athletic clothing that are top quality, and affordable.

Their main theme is “running chics” but they also have Pilates people, Yoga Chics, Swimming Chics, Nurse Chics, Pregnant Chics, Soccer Chics, Marathon and Half Marathon Running Chics, Golfing Chics, Teaching Chics, and much more! What does that mean? With every item that you purchase, you get to select the icon/logo for that product.

Every logo is so adorable! I was sent two items for review: Alo Hoodies in the color Red with Slate, and the Burnout V-Neck in the color Plum. For both items I selected the Running Chics logo, which has a chic running with a dog on a leash.

The Alo Hoodie is made up of 100% polyester. It's got what's called as "dry wicking" and "anti-microbial" performance... which means it's perfect for any kind of workout. You're body is able to breath, while you're sweating, which makes it ideal for many seasons.

The Burnout V-Neck t-shirt is made up of 65% polyester/35% cotton, and it retails for only $30! I can't get over how nice this t-shirt looks on. I find that with the tie-dye type of print, it has a slimming effect. The deepness of the plum color, and the pattern helps camouflage any tummy imperfections, which makes it super slimming. It's great quality, and the tie-dye has a sheer effect to it.

I also liked how both items didn't have a tag sewed on at the neck, it's printed on instead. I'm someone who is famous for ruining my shirts, by tearing the tag off and accidentally causing a hole.

Another awesome feature of their company is that they support Girls on the Run. A percentage of all their sales go to the Republic, Missouri, Girls on the run organization ran by Trish Hopkins, Council Director. Girls on the run is an international non-profit character development program for pre-teen girls that utilize a running format to teach life skills. Their mission is to “educate and prepare girls for a lifetime of self-respect and healthy living.”
