New Whey Liquid Protein: Like Liquid Gold!

For those of you who read my blog on a regular basis, you would already know that I had weight loss surgery earlier this year. You've probably read about my ups and downs post op, and already know that I've had a battle trying to get enough protein. Since my stomach can only hold about 6oz, it's important that I take a protein supplement at some point of the day. I've tried all kinds of protein supplements, and for some reason none of them I could handle. I guess since I was on the liquid diet for so long, any powdered protein shake makes me gag. I finally came across the BEST product when it comes to protein supplements: New Whey Liquid Protein. This product is by far the best tasting, best textured, super high protein I've tried to date.

When it comes to powdered protein I can't stand the texture. When it comes to premixed drinks, I can't stand the flavor as well as texture. I hate that most protein supplements are over a cup in size for only about 20g of protein. The New Whey Liquid Protein is only 3.8oz (112ml), which is roughly about three mouthfuls and is packed with 42g of protein... that's why I like to call it "liquid gold"! It's lactose free, gluten free, caffeine free, sugar free and fat free! The New Whey Liquid Protein comes in 7 yummy flavors: grape, fruit punch, watermelon, acai berry, blue raspberry, green apple and orange.

New Whey Liquid Protein offers you the ultimate in convenient protein supplementation. With no need for blending or refrigeration and virtually unbreakable packaging, it's perfect for your on-the-go lifestyle. Featuring a variety of great flavors and a serving size less than 4 ounces, New Whey Liquid Protein is compact, refreshing and nutritious.

Their unique, breakthrough formula consists of three proteins that make New Whey Liquid Protein complete and exceptionally bioavailable (in other words, more absorbable and usable by your body). And why do you want complete proteins? Because they contain the appropriate amounts of all essential amino acids to benefit muscle growth.

Ordinarily, whey passes quickly through the digestive system, which can lead to a significant amount of malabsorption. On the other hand, New Whey Liquid Protein is more bioavailable than regular whey, which means your body is better able to absorb and utilize our brand of protein. With other whey drinks and protein bars, malabsorption can also occur because they contain denatured protein molecules.

And just what is "denatured protein?" Denaturing causes the breakdown of normal protein molecules into abnormal structures, typically as a result of heat or acid processing (while pasteurizing protein drinks or baking protein bars, for instance). In contrast, New Whey Liquid Protein - extremely heat-stable because it's made completely with peptides and not denatured in any way — is much easier to absorb than whey products containing denatured protein.

Originally I hesitated on this product only because I was fed up with other protein drinks. Seeing that the small bottle was less then 4oz and 42g of protein, I was incredibly curious about the product. Since I live in Canada no stores carried it, however, it was purchasable online through their website, and a few other sites. Their main website: New Whey Nutrition carries the New Whey Liquid Protein, as well as other protein supplements that I haven't tried, but there's a wider variety if you're on the market for other kinds of supplements.

I am truly in LOVE with this product and will continue to use it! I will admit that with drinking one of these daily the price can add up quickly, however, that's something to take in account before even considering weight loss surgery. This product is a must have for those thinking of having any kind of bariatric surgery, and to be honest... if you calculate how many different products you waste your money on trying to find one you like, it's much better to just go with this! Myself as well as my mother have spent well over $500 on supplements since the surgery, and it's only been seven months post op.

This product isn't just for bariatric patients, it's good for anyone who's not getting enough protein, and/or someone who is on a workout regimen. If you're someone who purchases supplements on a regular basis, then you know that none of them are cheap! If I find a cheaper way of purchasing the product in the near future, I will share that will you.
