Medical Update: Woken up From my Sleep

I'm not feeling good at all. I just woke up from my sleep, and I can't stop shaking. It's a weird feeling that's hard to explain. I checked my blood sugar and it's normal, as it almost felt like the shaking when you're sugar is dropping too low. Talk about crazy withdrawal symptoms from Cymbalta. I've come off of other medications in the past, but wow, nothing as crazy as this happened before. I pray that I can get relaxed, and be able to fall back asleep. I will update you all later on how I'm feeling. Have a good night and sweet dreams.

  1. You were having a night terror panic attack...I used to get them all the time and still do on occasion..I would wake up to the fastest racing heart where I would fall to the ground trying to get up...I was on Cymbalta too and mad because it worked for Fibro and panic...however they didn't decide til later about causing high blood sugar..and liver problems...blood tests showed I had dangerously high glucose and liver enzymes...it was really hard to get off of it, but necessary...but I have to say..nothing will ever compare to getting off of Paxil...that is the worst and I have been off for 9 years..and still suffer symptoms...so stay away from Paxil....try Zoloft it works very good for Panic, depression and doesn't raise your sugar...or lower it.....feel better...

  2. wow... hope ya feel better -- sounds like a panic attack for sure. i just started taking wellbutrin after a recent diagnosis of depression/anxiety -- so i am new to all of this. but i do understand where you are coming from and hope you get some relief. since i have started wellbutrin i feel better but the insomnia is defeating. price we pay i guess?
    take care!

  3. btw i am adding you to my blog roll on a diet/health/general stuff blog i just started. i am always looking for another perspective in the struggle to lose weight and such. most i read are so straight laced -- i like the ones that are more real and about real life. your blog definitely fits that criteria!
