My Friday Complaining!

BWS tips buttonOne Crazy Brunette Chick

You know what time it is? It's my Friday Complaining time! This is a good time to vent on this weeks shit! (It's okay to say it-it's not a bad word!) To whom/what would you like to say Fawk You to today?

This has been a stressful week, when really it shouldn't be. I was shopping with my cutie at the mall, and I have a feeling he's going to propose some time soon. He asked me while we were in the jewellery store what type of ring I liked... hmmm... will he propose soon?! I would be happy if he did, and I told my mother that he might. She took the excitement out of the whole situation.

Why can't she be happy for me? Why does she have to ruin this for me? Doesn't it matter that I love him? I don't care how much money he makes, or if he finished college/university, or if he looks like a model. To me he is handsome... he is handsome because he treats me like a queen, and loves me for who I am. Why wouldn't I want to marry my best friend? She thinks I'm settling, and I'm not. She says I'm making another mistake like my last marriage.

Here's the difference between him and my ex husband... he doesn't physically abuse me, he doesn't mentally abuse me, he doesn't abuse my cat, he takes care of me, he actually listens when I talk, we enjoy each others company... he makes me smile.

So that's why I'm stressed because I think he will propose over the holidays, and my mother is going to make things difficult and make me feel bad. I love my mother, but I love him as well.

  1. I hope things work out and you should do what makes you happy, not your mom.

  2. Mom's can sure be downers. Is it possible she isn't happy so she takes it out on you? It isn't right if that's the case.

  3. I hope things work out for you, but don't just ignore your mom. We all tend to see what we what to see when it comes to a significant other. So, although you may see the good in him, it's okay to not ignore the bad if it's true. It's easy to say "we'll live on love" until the first bill arrives in the mail. Again, I truly hope things work out.
