Boring Day

I don't know what is wrong with me the last few days. I'm so drowsy and keep falling asleep no matter what I'm doing. I have no energy... don't feel like doing anything. I have a killer headache, and once again my appetite is back... dammit! Since my appetite is back, I'm almost afraid to step on the scale... afraid that I've put back what I lost.

Next week I have my first information session for gastric bypass surgery. Am I excited? Yes! Am I nervous? Hell, yes! I've been thinking for quite a long time now about having this surgery, and I finally mentioned it to my doctor... that was over a year ago. It took over a year just to get a few appointments to find out about it. Crazy, eh? I can't believe the refferals take that long... and then after my consultation with the surgeon, I have another year to wait until the surgery. At least I have the surgeon consultation already scheduled... that is in a few weeks. I will keep you all posted on what I learn.

  3. For gastric bypass it's quite long... especially since I'm in Toronto.

  4. I do hope it goes well! I know those referrals can be irritating. It takes a million years to get one here, too.

Do keep us posted on the details!

  6. I'm sending healing thoughts your way.

I have several friends/acquaintances who had gastric bypass surgery. They are so much happier and healthier, and they don't have anything negative to say about it.

    Keep faith,
