Where have I been hiding? #tookabreak #familytime #newbeginning

I haven't been blogging like I used to, and have been spending most of my time with family and friends. Time sure passes fast, and so much has happened since the last blog post. Where do I begin? Well, me and my family had a wonderful holiday season and a promising New Years Eve! What does the new year hold? I like to think of it as a new beginning, a fresh start, and I'm ready for it with the coming of spring.

Things were going fairly good up until last week. I was going about my usual business of being at work early, working through my lunch break to complete stuff, and boom... I get fired without cause. Ya right... my boss hated me and was on a power trip. I guess I wasn't allowed to decline something ten minutes before the end of my shift, even though he regularly leaves work early... and I'm talking 1pm on a regular basis. I was working 9.5 to 10 hours daily just to get things done, and was doing more than my job description stated. I covered for people when they were sick, was there even during snow storms... and early. It's maddening how I wasn't appreciated via my boss, and how him firing me fucked the girls in the service department... they're now swamped.
