Loving my New Work of Art in the Living Room from Photowall #review #homedecor #art

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

Lemon - Trees White (wallpaper)

I've been living in my apartment in Scarborough for about two years now, and I'm just about finished decorating. I finally found the perfect piece for the wall in my living room ... I looked for the longest time to find something that would work on the large wall, but would still accommodate a television in front of the artwork. I came across the beautiful canvas print Allee by Jorma Jamsen on Photowall, and I knew that I finally found what I was looking for.

Their moto is "Wall Art by Passionate People"... where you'll find a wide collection of wallpaper and prints in their collection. They take pride and are passionate about helping people transform their homes to reflect their personalities. They offer wall murals, designer wallpaper, canvas prints, framed prints, posters, personalized wallpaper, own canvas prints, own framed prints, own posters (from your own images).

I was contacted by the company to see if I'd like to work with them to review one of their works of art. I must of spent at least an hour on the website looking through all the gorgeous masterpieces... they really do offer something for everyone.

Little Brie and I Love Our Mommy and Me Canvas! #inkdoodle

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

Me and Brianna, © 2017 aspicyboycatandmyfatass.com

My little Munchkin is heading on two years old, and I can't believe how quick the time is flying. It feels like it was just yesterday that I brought her home from the hospital... not when she had surgery, but when she was born. I find myself constantly having my cellphone in my hand, trying to capture every moment, creating memories. You can't have too many photos while they're growing up, especially since the time just passes by. I'm trying to capture every milestone, and as a proud mom I can't help but share the pictures of her.

I have many photo albums, scrapbook photo albums, and frames with family photos scattered around my home. I also have a brand new photo canvas from the company InkDoodle, that I had made for my daughters room. It's a small sized canvas that's perfect for a child's room, so naturally I had to have it made with a picture of Brianna and her momma!

Holiday Gift Guide: Feeling Creative With My Adult Coloring Book #MoodEnhancingMandalas #Holidaygiftguide2015

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

It's that time of year again, when people start thinking about shopping for the holiday season. I'm famous for having all my shopping completed early, and this year is no exception to that. In the spirit of Christmas, I'm working with a number of companies who have joined in my Holiday Gift Guide 2015... and this is my tenth post!

I have been artsy for as long as I can remember. I went to an art high school, and then took graphic design in college. With me being a new mother, I don't really have much time to do art. That doesn't mean that I don't want to be creative, I sometimes enjoy doodling or coloring when I get the chance. I have little kids coloring books at home, but those are too simple to keep my creative juices flowing. I recently got a chance to review My Masterpiece Adult Coloring Books Mood Enhancing Mandalas Volume 1.

Storyteller: Engrave Your Memories on a Bottle!

For as long as I can remember, I've always been obsessed with snapping pictures. At an early age when I received my first camera from Santa, I remember having fun experimenting with photography, trying to capture and create memories. I studied photography at an art school, and continued to study it in college. Photos are a great way to help you remember all the special and important moments, to have and keep for many years to come. If you're looking for something that captures a special memory using a photo, the company Storyteller Engraving does that with a unique twist. They take your photo of choice and engrave it on a wine bottle. You're able to fully customize it, to create a true work of art that would make for the perfect gift with meaning.

They design and engrave any type of image, text, logo, or graphics of your choice onto any kind of liquor, wine, or champagne bottles. They treat every bottle with love and care, to create a one of a kind work of art. You're able to fully customize everything... you can even add little crystals for that extra sparkle.

Speaking of gift, the engraved wine bottles make for the perfect birthday, wedding, or anniversary gift. I just recently celebrated my 1 year wedding anniversary, and I had one of these created for my hubby. We got married June 24, 2012, and I wanted to give him something special, yet unique as a gift. What's more unique then an engraved bottle with our wedding photo?!

It took me quite a long time to figure out what to give him, and I accidentally came across the Storyteller website. I fell in love with the idea, and contacted the company... I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity of reviewing a personalized work of art, and I LOVE it!

It started out with me submitting my photo of choice, the color that I wanted everything engraved with, the font for what I wanted written, and I also selected a border to help frame it. Within a day or so I received an email with the template of what the engraving was supposed to look like. In all honesty, I wasn't quite sure if it would turn out... as I was afraid it would look too cartoon-like. They were friendly, and easy to please my every request. I'm so glad I went with their suggestions, as the overall end result was beautiful. They are true artists who specialize in what they do, and know what will work and what wont.

Interested in getting your own engraved wine bottle from Storyteller? Of course you are! Click here to visit and grab your items today! Interested in visiting their FacebookPinterest, and Twitter pages? Of course you are... you never know when you could save and get a deal!

Keep an eye out starting this December, as Storyteller is joining in my "12 Days of Christmas Giveaways 2013"! One lucky reader has a chance to win a personalized engraved bottle.  Be sure to swing by starting December 1st, as there will be new giveaways announced daily!

I received an item(s), in exchange for my honest opinion, and a review of my experience. I did not receive any other compensation or incentive nor was I required to write a positive review. Individual results or experiences may vary.

KellyNeedleArt: Cross Stitch Pattern Etsy Store!

I've always been an artistic type of person, and very much enjoy drawing, painting portraits. I like to copy photographs, and create photo-realistic art. I actually went to an art high school, and studied graphic design in college. I don't do art as a career, however, it is one of my main hobbies. I enjoy web design, and daily blogging, and creating art with meaning. I recently came across a wonderful artist named Kelly, who specializes in cross stitching, sewing, quilting, and anything craft related. She has her own Etsy shop, where she sells her creations, and also a personal website where you can read all about her!

I have always admired people who are crafty in nature, especially people who do crotch stitching. I personally have never tried it, nor do I think I have the patience for it. Funny that I say that I don't have the patience, as I can sit and draw for hours, and days at a time! I guess I've never too interest in that craft, but that doesn't mean that I don't admire those that create such beauty.

Kelly shares many original cross stitching designs in her Etsy shop, and I was sent the Little Women Cross Stitch Pattern for review. This pattern is originally Christmas themed, however, it can be enjoyed all year round. It features Christmas colors, but there's no actual Christmas decor to it. This pattern is perfect for those who are religious in nature, and based on the novel Little Women by Louisa May Alcott. It says "We 've got Father and Mother, and each other", then underneath it says "Beth Little Women". Perfect to stitch while watching the movie.

The pattern comes to you in your email in the form of a PDF file. Print from your computer and you are ready to stitch! The email gets sent to you with the pattern within 24 hours of payment.

Interested in purchasing something from her? Click here to visit her Etsy store! Interested in visiting her personal website? Click here to learn more about her!

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Christine Marie Ford: Amazing Fiber Artist

Artist Christine Ford creates rich and colourful contemporary quilts with an abstract flair often inspired by themes of nature and the human spirit. Her first quilt made entirely by hand took a year and a half to complete.

Today with the aid of a sewing machine, she creates her own contemporary designs and specializes in a process called “free motion” quilting in which she literally draws with the needle. Improvising most of her designs, Christine uses commercial and hand-dyed fabrics that she often paints to achieve a desired effect.
