Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial. |
I'm someone who for the longest time, has had sensitive skin. I have to be so careful about what I put on my skin, especially when it comes to my face. On top of that, I also prefer stuff that's organic and all natural. Years ago I came across an awesome skin care line: Annmarie Organic and Natural Pure Skin Care! I have reviewed a number of their amazing products in the past, and was fortunate to get the opportunity of doing so again. For those of you who don't know about the company Annemarie, here's a little background regarding it...
The founder of the company is AnnMarie Gianni, who's known as an author, and health advocate. It all started a few years back, when she decided to read the labels of her every day products. Most of them contained ingredients that were actually unsafe! Many products that claimed they were organic and pure, a huge majority was only partially, and actually contained additives and preservatives. Being frustrated with the lack of truthful claims to the products, she decided to come up with her own 100% natural skin care.
I was sent a couple products to review, and the first is one of their newest products... Wild Fruit Serum. It's a brightening Facial complex that helps bydrate, and tone aging skin. It brightens the overall appearance of the skin tone, in which it contains a dose of fruit, herb and plant extracts. It contains kakadu plum and apple, which help revive dull skin. Resveratrol-rich knotweed, plant-cell extracts and copper combine to help keep skin moist, and supple for an even toned glow.
Ingredients:
Serum blend (*aloe vera juice, *squalane [plant sugar derived], carrageenan [chondrus crispus], saccharide isomerate, non-GMO xanthan gum), copper infused water, saccharide isomerate, *apple extract, *uva ursi extract, *knotweed extract, CoQ10 & *squalane [plant sugar derived], *kakadu plum extract, *aloe vera juice infused with herbs (*gotu kola, *calendula, *helichrysum), aspen bark extract, *madonna lily cells, *poet's narcissus cells, *sandalwood seed oil, *grapeseed oil, *camellia seed oil, *pomegranate seed oil, sodium ascorbate, *acai oil, *argan oil, superoxide dismutase, *rosemary extract, essential oils of elemi, litsea cubeba, and roman chamomile. *Organically grown or wildcrafted.
The bottle that I was sent was a sample size of 5ml, whereas, the size that is sold on their site is 15ml. The sample is plenty, as a little goes a long way. The cute little bottle was well sealed, to help prevent any leakage... I seem to be cursed with products that normally leak, but this didn't. Once the bottle was opened, I was amazed by the fragrance of the product. It's lightly fruity, slightly citrousy, and the smell is to die for. Forget the fact that this is meant for your face, I wanna use it as a perfume! When it comes to the beauty prospect of the product, I noticed a change in the skin on my face. Normally my nose and forehead is quite oily and shines like I just greased it with oil, but since using this product, I've noticed the oil buildup decreasing. I also used it on my cheeks, and it adds a nice glow without overdrying the skin.
The second item that I was sent was the Body Essentials Travel Kit, in which I've reviewed before in the past. It contains the Rosemary Peppermint Body Wash, Coconut Body Oil, and Radiant Skin Silk Body Lotion. The three make for an awesome little travel set, that's perfect to toss into a suitcase with it's small size. All three smell amazing, and are super gentle for all skin types. The travel kit would make for the perfect stocking stuffer this holiday season!
