Making Businesses More Professional With #IDCreator

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.
For those of you who read my blog on a regular basis, you would know that it's my dream to have a home daycare. I was in the process of starting one, and was shut down before it even took off. Because I didn't own the property that it was located on, my landlord threatened for me to close it down. I pretty much just put it on hold until I move into my condo, which is currently being built, and looking forward to that day when I get to move in... which is expected to be this coming November.

With that said, it's very important to have everyone who comes in contact with your children, to be identified prior to accepting them into the daycare. Introducing new clients to everyone in the home is very important to me, especially family members that plan on helping (mom and grandma). One way to help identify a possible worker, would be for them to wear a name tag and/or ID. I was contacted by the company ID Creator to test out their product, and the first thing that came to mind was creating one for my upcoming daycare!

I gave the company full freedom as to what they could create. I had played around with the features on their website, and couldn't fully decide what I wanted! I basically gave the company my name, a photo of myself for the tag, and the name of my daycare. Now since the project was for their "PRESS" style ID tag, that's why it says it on the one's that I received. I just figured that since I blog, having one that says "PRESS" would fit with my daily life. I have created permission forms for clients to fill out when joining the daycare, if they want to join in for childrens product reviews... I would never share photos of any children under my care, except for my own daughter. Even then, I don't like to share too much.

I received two tags, one portrait and the other landscape. Both are using the same photo, and I can't decide which one I prefer. The white one kind of reminds me of a student ID, whereas the other moreso for a business. Maybe I might prefer the blue one, since that's my favorite colour!

I received two clear plastic casings for the IDs, one for each style of badge. I also received an RN card, which is available if you're a nurse... I'm not, but it's there in the photo to show that they offer them. I also received a plstic suspender clip, a badge reel and a lanyard. Everything is excellent quality, just like IDs from previous places that I've worked in the past.
