Collapsible Diffuser for Hair Dryer #xtcanada

For as long as I can remember, when I was growing up, I used to have the frizziest hair. I spent countless hours in the bathroom every morning either straightening my hair, or scrunching it to enhance the curls. It was a daily routine that I just grew to accept, and tried numourous products to help it along the way. I noticed in my 30's that my hair completely changed texture... no more frizz. Where did it disappear to? I have no idea, but I traded it for thin, flat and bodyless hair. Even though my hair has changed, my routine is still somewhat the same... I'm using a hairdryer every time I wash my hair. I had the chance to test out the xtava Collapsible Silicone Hair Diffuser recently, which helps add some much needed volume and body to my hair.


I've used diffusers in the past for many years, and nothing is like the xtava one. What's the difference? Well, for starters it's lightweight and perfect for travelling, as it folds down into intself. The measurements for this little contraption, is that it fits most 6" and 7" hairdryers. One of my favorite things about this one, is that it sits nice and snug, whereas many brands in the past used to blow off when the hairdryer was on. I also like that it's made of a smooth silicone material that's solid... the material is perfect for preventing your hair from sticking to the diffuser. I've had issues in the past with other brands, where my hair kept getting stuck. Also, with it being made of silicone, it prevents the diffuser from heating up and burning your hair... I've also had that problem in the past.

Since I've been using this diffuser, I noticed that my hair has quite a bit more volume. It looks fuller and healthier, than letting my hair air dry. The only thing that I noticed at times while using it, is that if I put a little pressure on it, then it would collapse on the dryer. I only did that twice while using it... and that was when I was trying to multitask!
