It's that time of year again, when people start thinking about shopping for the holiday season. I'm famous for having all my shopping completed early, and this year is no exception to that. In the spirit of Christmas, I'm working with a number of companies who have joined in my Holiday Gift Guide 2015... and this is my seventh post!

I've always loved the holiday season, and have celebrated it year after year on here. This is the first time that I get to experience it with my daughter, and I'm super excited... feel like a kid again. One of the best parts of the season, is curling up on the couch with family and friends, with a nice cup of hot cocoa, and a good old fashioned Christmas movie. Sometimes it's even better getting all cozy under a blanket to enjoy a good read... a nice Christmas themed book, that will leave you all warm and fuzzy inside. There's nothing better than one of the old holiday classics... and even better... being able to personalize a book, to bring your loved ones alive in the story. There's a company called I See Me, and they specialize in personalizing children's books to help bring them to life. They don't just offer books, they also offer personalized puzzles, lunchboxes, coloring books, place-mats, stickers, and growth charts.

I was fortunate to get the opportunity of working with the company, as I had come across them online in deals several times. I was given the opportunity of selecting from a number of titles to review, and naturally I went with something for Christmas... an old favorite... 12 Days of Christmas. Now take that, and add some personal touches to further engage your little Munchkin during story time. I thought it was a super cute idea, but had no idea at how truly beautiful it would be. It's actually a work of art, that I'm proud to give as a gift and would last a lifetime of memories for my daughter.

The book came wrapped in bubble wrap, which to me is a bunch of fun in itself! The front cover has her name "Brianna", and the second page her picture. In this book I selected to have mommy, daddy, grandma and great grandma, and our fur-baby Mr. Jingles included. The style of the book is kind of retro, and the illustrations are perfect to capture the attention of children of all ages. I read Brianna the book today right before nap time, and she couldn't take her eyes away from the pictures. She's a little too young to really appreciate the fact that it's personalized, but this time next year it will most likely be different.

I have purchased other personalized books this season from a different company, and I must say that the workmanship of I See Me is better than the other. The overall quality is top notch... from the paper and ink quality, to even the binding of the book. I also liked that it's more of a matte finish on the cover, which helps prevent the book from scratching with regular wear and tear. Do I love the book? Yes! Too bad it's just for the holiday season, as I would have enjoyed reading it to her all year round. I guess that just means that I will have to grab more from the company!

When I opened up the original box that the book was mailed in, I was super excited to see that the company threw in an added little bonus. I guess since they knew that I have a little girl, they thew in a personalized little ornament. I was super excited about this, especially since I had just put up the Christmas tree... it's like they already knew! On one side of the ornament there's a little bear with the date on it, and it looks like he's leaving milk and cookies out for Santa. On the other side of the ornament, there's a photo of my  little Munchkin. The style of the ornament is like a picture frame... with the shiny, super strong glossy insert.

I would like to say thank you so much to the company for their timeless pieces that they sent me... they will be treasured for years to come.
