Loving My Pretty Green Eyes with Lenscircle!

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

I'm in my mid thirties and I've worn glasses as well as contact lenses for quite a number of  years. I got my first pair back in the mid 90's in high school, and they sure have changed throughout the years. I still remember my first pair, having to clean them everyday, whereas now I usually go for the disposable. I have dark brown eyes and have always wondered what I would look like if I had lighter eyes. I had the opportunity to work with the company called Lenscirle... which is a company that carries a wide range of contact lenses.

There's so many pretty colors and styles to choose from, however, I ended up going with one of their prescription colored lenses. I've tried color lenses before in the past, but always found that with my dark brown eyes, it was hard for the color to show. I tried the World Series in the green shade, and it actually made my eyes green! The way that the green for these lenses, is that they actually have a color combo of three colors. A beautiful blend of three unique tones of green in one lens to create a subtle, natural looking eye.

I had placed my order for the green prescription lenses, which I was surprised that they even offered the higher prescriptions. The only thing that they didn't offer, was color prescription contact lenses for astigmatism... which are very rare to begin with anyway. Once the order was placed, they arrived within two business days... faster than I expected! Once I opened the padded envelope, I was greeted with a cute zebra designed pouch. Inside, everything was once again bubble wrapped for protection, and included the two small glass bottles that contained the lenses, the instructions, a thank you card with a coupon code, and a new contact lens case. I'm famous for always losing those cases!

I noticed that these lenses were slightly thicker then the average toric lens, however, thinner than most color lenses. They fit my eyes comfortably, and I was able to wear them for half a day. Since I'm pregnant my eyes are dryer than usual, so I tend not to wear lenses for a whole day... I keep them for when I go out somewhere special.

Since I love my color lenses so much, I'm looking to get the Blue Nudy Circle Lens next. I've always wanted to see what I would look like with blue eyes, and these come in prescription and are a pretty light blue.
