Day 4: 12 Days of Christmas Giveaways - Gear Essentials: Surge and Grip Ring Giveaway!

I've been married only about six months now, but we have been together almost five years. Even though the relationship is strong and going good, that doesn't mean that you can't add a little extra spice in the bedroom. Normally I review adult novelty products that are geared toward the female or couple, but this time from the company Gear Essentials, I reviewed some stuff that are more for the man or couple. The company features products for men, toys, apparel, and accessories.

When it comes to products for men that they offer, it's more along the line of toys, lube, cock rings, ball-weights  and apparel like underwear and jockstraps. To be honest, I've never seen or used a cock ring or ball-weights .. never really thought about them. I was sent two cock rings for review from the company, and I must say that they're quite interesting!

For those of you who don't know what a cock ring is, it's a ring that is placed around a person's penis, usually at the base, primarily to slow the flow of blood from the erect penile tissue, thus maintaining erection for a much longer period. Cock rings can be worn around just the penis or both the penis and scrotum, or just the scrotum alone. Rings can be made of a variety of different materials, most commonly leather, rubber, or silicone, though nylon and metal are also used either as the main component or part of the closure.

The two rings that I was sent were the: Surge Cock Ring, and the Grip Cock Ring. The first one is prettier of the two, is made of lightweight aluminum  which actually looks like a pretty piece of jewelry... a ring for your penis! The shape of it is designed that it could be comfortable enough for all day wear, or all day night wear.

The second ring is made from medical grade plastic. This ring was a preference for my husband, as it has a little more give to it compared to the hard metal. It warms up to your skin faster, and found it easier to put on. Looks wise, I like the Surge, whereas he likes the Grip. Either way, they're both excellent products, and actually do help add to the length of a lovemaking session.
