NailPolishCanada.com: Butter London... Non-toxic Nail Polish!

I have always been a little obsessed when it comes to my nails. With my anxiety, I seem to have a problem with biting them at times, and picking at the cuticles. Even with that problem, I still like wearing nail polish, and the more feminine it is, the better. I love all shades of pink, but have been shy to wear anything bright in the past, due to my poor nail condition. I've tried a couple brands from NailPolishCanada.com in the past, and recently tried a newer brand that they're carrying: Butter London.

Many times I used to have acrylic nails, but found that those just ruined my actual nail underneath. I'm now focusing on the health of my nails, trying to get them to grow back normally. Since I'm focusing more on my health, the Butter London brand is the perfect nail polish choice, as they're known for being a healthier alternative.

Butter London has combined the safety and importance of 3-Free (non-toxic) nail polish, which means it contains no toluene, DBP or added formaldehyde. They have worked to create colors and styles for the runway with fashion designers including Alexander Wang, Victoria Beckham, Betsey Johnson, Calvin Klein, Rachel Zoe, and many more.

I was sent two colors from Butter London for review: Disco Biscuit, and Trout Pout.

With the 80's coming back, the bright color of the Disco Biscuit is the perfect color for many occasions. From the original picture, you can't tell, but the actual nail polish has a bit of a glitter to it. In the light, it has specks of purple-like glitter, which makes it look super pretty in the light. This shade is perfect for a night on the town, or for the more daring that like bold colors for daily wear.

The Trout Pout is a light pink the color of trout or salmon. A pretty light pink shade, that is slightly bright in nature. This is perfect for spring and the summer season ahead, and would look super hot with tanned skin.

Both shades are equally feminine, and require a few layers to look it's best. I ended up putting three layers on my nails, for the best look. With the three layers, it is quite strong in nature, and didn't chip at all. I found that after two days, however, the tips of some of my nails wore away a bit. I'm very hard on my nails, and this happens with every polish I wear. I've learned in the past that with a top coat, it will last twice as long. Knowing that this product is non-toxic, makes this product well worth it.
