Can't Wait to Decorate!

For those of you who don't already know, I bought a condo. Yes, it was in the spring of 2011 that I signed the papers for it, but it won't be ready to move in until around September 2015. A long time to wait, but it helps me come up with a big chunk of the down-payment. The last down-payment is scheduled to come out in two weeks, which leaves me excited to pack away the savings so I can get a lower mortgage. The money situation has been a little tough, especially with all the health problems that I've been through, and with being off of work, but my fiance and I are getting by.

In my mind I'm envisioning what I want to do to the new apartment, with all the decorating, and new furniture. I'm imagining the nice pendant lights from Lampclick.com that I can have for above a new dining room table. Right now I don't have a dining room table, so that's something that I'm looking forward to having.

The kitchen and living room/dining room is all open concept, and I've selected to add a nice island to help accommodate for extra counter space, and storage. I've always loved the look of an island, and I'm so excited to see mine. I'm also imagining the nice island pendant lights that I can use to decorate with, and have it hanging above the island. I've always admired nice light fixtures on the cooking shows, and dreamed of having my own nice kitchen, in a place that I can call my own.
