Day 4: 12 Days of Christmas Giveaways - Feather Fashinista: Trendy Fake & Real Feather Hair Extensions ~ Feather Hair Extension Giveaway!

The latest trend the last little while is to wear feathers. Feather earrings, feathers in your hair, etc. I recently came across a company called Feather Fashinista, where they sell hair extensions in many different colors, patterns, all looking like feathers. The products have been seen on many celebrities: Beyonce, Steve Tyler, Lucy Hale, Bella Thorne, Demi Lovato, Miley Cyrus, Hilary Duff, Selena Gomez, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Kesha, and many more! The great thing about this company is that none of the products are actually made of feathers, so no animals were harmed in the making... very important for me.

I have to admit I love the feather look, I'm just not into harming animals. So when I came across Feather Fashinista I was excited. Just want I wanted, some crazy color hair extensions that look like feathers! No need for adding harsh chemicals to get the desired color, and no need for hurting any birds to get the feather look.

Every item offered on their website is affordable, and super trendy. Each feather order contains 3 separate strands of feathers in the same color, along with 3 of the same color micro beads. The colors that are available are: teal, pink, green, purple, red, orange, white, brown, yellow, and dark blue. For people who want real feathers, they do offer a 10 strand package, as well as peacock feather earrings. They also carry hair tinsel in colors: gold, silver, red and black.

Installation kit is not a necessity if you have a small set of pliers to tighten the bead and a thin piece of wire or a hair pin for threading. Extensions last up to 5 months - can be treated like your hair– (you can wash, blowdry, straighten or even curl on MEDIUM heat setting).

I was sent the Red 3 Strand Feathers for review, and I have to say that they're quite cute. It's a pretty bright, but deep color read, and it has kind of a zebra design all the way down. Super pretty, and looks funky in my hair. I didn't attempt to apply it myself, I asked my mother to do it. It was simple, only took a few mintues! If you're curious as to how you apply it to your hair, click here for instructions.

Thanks to Feather Fashinista one lucky reader has a chance to win a Red Feather Package of 3! To qualify you must be 18+, and be a resident of US/CA.

I received an item(s), in exchange for my honest opinion, and a review of my experience. I did not receive any other compensation or incentive nor was I required to write a positive review. Individual results or experiences may vary.
