FakeBake: The Most Realistic Fake Tan... Perfect for the Holiday Season!
I never seem to tan, I just turn pink and burn. When I was a child I used to tan, but not since I've become an adult. I have extremely fair skin, so I have to avoid tanning outside as well as tanning beds. I like my skin, and I'm extra careful about what I put on it, as well as what I put in my body. I'm not a fan of spray tanning at tanning places, as I find them to look fake and too orange. Then I recently came across the product FakeBake: their moto "Live the Lie"! Their products produce a fake tan that actually looks real. The have a wide variety of products to suit your needs and skin type, even for super fair sensitive skin like mine!
Tanning lotions are a great alternative to the sun damaging rays. It's hard to find products that actually look like a real tan, but I finally found the right company. It's perfect to use for special occasions, before going on a holiday, or even daily use. FakeBake makes for the perfect stocking stuffer for the holiday season, so grab yours before it's too late!
Since I have super fair skin, I received the FakeBake Fair Gradual Self-Tan Lotion. This product is nice because it's a gradual tan, so you can control how dark you want to go. Since it's geared for the fair skin, it starts off quite light so it actually looks like you've been "sun kissed". It gives off a nice radiant golden glow within just a couple applications. I also found it quite professional that the kit included gloves, to keep your hands from getting over tanned.
Fake Bake Fair Self-Tan Lotion has been specially formulated for people with fair complexions. The easy glide formula and subtle "show where it goes" cosmetic colour guide enables even the most inexperienced self-tanner to apply a self-tan with ease and confidence. A combination of cutting edge, naturally derived tanning agents DHA and Erythulose work with the melanin cells which lie in the top layers of your skin to develop into a tan that compliments your skin tones for a perfectly natural looking results. If you desire a darker tan, Fake Bake Fair Self-Tan Lotion can be reapplied over consecutive days giving you complete control of your colour development.
One thing I learned, which it actually states in the instructions that came included... make sure you exfoliate before applying! I have a bad habit of reading instructions after I've used products, and I did with this as well. The result wasn't too disastrous... I just had a couple brown creases on the back of my feet in the ankle area. It was an easy fix, I just exfoliated really well in that area the following day.
