End of Week Medical Update

I saw my family doctor on Tuesday, and by then I was in hell when it comes to the UTI. I wasn't able to attend group therapy, as I was running around trying to get tests done, and prescriptions filled. Of course I waited too long to get my Prozac filled, and didn't have any that morning... so had to have that filled to avoid withdrawal.

So I got a prescription for the infection, which ended up spreading to my kidneys... mostly the left one. I thought starting the antibiotics Tuesday I would be feeling better by now, but I was wrong. Yes my UTI is pretty much gone, but the infection in my left kidney has left me in agony. At the time I was at the doctor it didn't hurt as much as it does now. I've been taking Tylenol like candy, but should probably have something stronger.

I woke up in the middle of the night in so much pain that I could barely get out of bed to pee. I see the doctor again Tuesday, so hopefully I will be pain free by then. So until then, Tylenol and bed rest. Hope you all have a better weekend then mine!
