My Crazy Monday!

Since I can't sleep I figure I might as well update everyone about my wonderful Monday. Woke up way too early for my liking, but I had no choice since I had my pre admission appointment today. I have to say that it was more organized compared to the last surgery I had. Before it was a maze of places I had to go for registering, blood tests, and an ECG. Today everything was done in one room... it was the doctors that came to us.

As usual they had trouble trying to take blood. Lucky me... the woman decided to use one of the veins in my hand. I don't normally squirm or make a face while taking blood, but this crazy lady was moving the damn needle around trying to get my blood. My hand is still paining and bruised. Good thing was we were there less then three hours.

After that I had to do some quick shopping... I had to pick up chocolate chips, eggs, and something for my valentine. I had bought him a chocolate rose before, but it accidentally ended up in my tummy! Shame on me! Well I had to test the quality to make sure it was a good quality chocolate for my love! Hahaha... I'll keep telling myself that.

When I got home I was surprised to find some pretty flowers waiting for me. Awww... my cutie surprised me! We ended up going to Red Lobster and feasted until our pants were tight. I wore black track pants for the extra room! Nah, I'm just kidding... I wore black dress pants. I did have a little trouble zipping up my coat... think I ate a few too many of those yummy garlic tea biscuit's! Oh well... good thing I start my liquid diet tomorrow.

Well think I'm going to finally hit the sack... good night everyone and hope you had a Happy Valentine's Day!

  1. Kimberly~ I love the cartoon. I recently had blood drawn & I really think they need to thin out the Techs that can't do it right! Sry for your pain! I ended a bit bruised too & her supervisor had to take over & retrieve more from my other arm when the needle fell out and made a bloody mess out of the 1st arm!
I too ran to get chocolate chips & ingredients for a dessert I wanted to make Hubby. I couldnt believe how out the store was of my needs, I had to improvise. Funny, my Mom sent Hubby a chocolate rose that also got lost & ended in my tummy... (snooze you lose)
The garlic biscuits definently deserve stretchy pants!
    Love~
