You know what time it is? It's Fawk You Friday, Fucked Up Friday and Friday Flip-offs! This is a good time to vent on this weeks shit! (It's okay to say it-it's not a bad word!) To whom/what would you like to say Fawk You to today?
I'm glad it's Friday because that means I get to swear and not feel bad about it... not that it stops me during the week! Oops... shame on me! Anyway, I definitely want to say a big fawk you to my family Dr.. Tuesday after my appointment with my psychiatrist, I got some medications filled. Normally my family Dr would write "Seroquel" for the prescription, but my psychiatrist wrote "Quetiapine"... which is the generic name for it.
Later on my mother and I had to double check my receipt and came to the conclusion that I was covered 90% for the generic, and the Seroquel I had only been getting 60%. For so long I had been struggling to pay for the difference in my meds all because my Dr is an asswhipe. I had a feeling he was a bit of an ass the last few weeks, but now it confirms that he really doesn't give a shit about anyone but himself. So a BIG GIGANTIC FUCK YOU, not a FAWK You... but a FUCK YOU!
Okay... I feel much better getting that off my chest. Now I can get on with my Friday!
Oh, by the way... Happy Friday the 13th! For those of you who are superstitious... I think it's a good luck day!
CB has a new blog design... I had to do a double take today when I visited her! Swing by to grab her new button!
Oh man, well I'm glad you know now! That's crazy that you had to pay out of pocket for so long!
ReplyDeleteYeah glad you found out about it and stop paying out of pocket again. Yikes! Hope you'll have a great weekend. That cat picture is hilarious LOL :D
ReplyDeleteDamn....tell him that you realize it now and you cant pay his bill because of it....Im always thinking of ways to be bitchy LOL Fawk you to friday the 13th LOL just kidding
ReplyDeleteSee, that wouldnt happen here in Australia because the pharmacist automatically asks you " Would you like the generic brand ? " Which, of course, is usually an automatic "yes"!
ReplyDeleteVery funny blog! LMAO and loving the finger giving cat! Found you on Fri Follow.

Doctors drive me nuts in that way...as if it's not a big deal for the average person to have to pay more for meds. SUCKS.

I hear you on the generic medication thing... they are so NOT the same as brand. Flip OFF
ReplyDeleteI think that some (though not all) doctors are oblivious to the fact that not everyone makes a few hundred dollars per hour and can afford prescriptions at any cost. Some of us live in place called "Buy-groceries-for-the-month-or-pay for-this-prescriptionville." My insurance will no longer cover my migraine meds, so after I run out in the next couple months, I either have to pay the $180+ (for 6 pills), or live with the migraines. Gawd, I love America.
ReplyDeleteI totally feel your Friday Flip Offs! And the cat pic is awesome. Thanks for visiting my Tinalicious blog too!
I agree . . the cat giving "the bird" (irony?) is so funny! Love it.
ReplyDeletethanks for stopping by - came for funny, staying for the cat flipping the bird ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog. I have to agree the cat giving us the bird is just perfect. Love it! That sucks about the meds. Got have the happy pills and who wants to pay double?!
ReplyDeleteThat's bad! Here in the UK we have one prescription price, no matter what brand of drug you're being given and free prescriptions if you meet certain criteria.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the follow :D
Prescriptions are a fawking racket! So glad you found out what the real deal was!
ReplyDeleteYes, thank God I found out! Thanks for commenting.
