In the past I have written about the company Charter, and once again I came across an opportunity to talk about it. If you haven't already heard of them... it's a company that offers TV, Internet, and home phone service to residential areas and business's.
Charter has always had awesome promotions in the past to get people to sign up... well the latest is geared at the Back-to-School crowd. As part of Charter’s back-to-school campaign, they introduce laptop-a-day giveaway. They are giving 50 laptops away to two schools. Plus, you can also enter at a chance to win your very own laptop! Sounds good, eh? Makes me wish I could sign up for Charter! I'm in Canada, so unfortunately I don't qualify.
The laptops are Lenovo G555's with a 15.6" screen, 160GB drive and 3GB ram... whatever that means, I don't know... but it sounds good! How can you win one of these you may ask? Well by ordering any of Charter's services automatically gives you a chance to win and get up to $300 cash back. You could also enter by registering online, that way there is no purchase necessary.
Don't forget... the main opportunity is to get family and friends to nominate and vote for your school. One lucky school with be the winner of the 50 new computers! All school nominations must be made before August 12, 2010. Charter will choose 50 finalists and announce those schools on August 16th. Voting will be open between August 16th and September 20th. The winning schools will be announced on September 27th!
