Loving my New Work of Art in the Living Room from Photowall #review #homedecor #art

Lemon - Trees White (wallpaper)

I've been living in my apartment in Scarborough for about two years now, and I'm just about finished decorating. I finally found the perfect piece for the wall in my living room ... I looked for the longest time to find something that would work on the large wall, but would still accommodate a television in front of the artwork. I came across the beautiful canvas print Allee by Jorma Jamsen on Photowall, and I knew that I finally found what I was looking for.

Their moto is "Wall Art by Passionate People"... where you'll find a wide collection of wallpaper and prints in their collection. They take pride and are passionate about helping people transform their homes to reflect their personalities. They offer wall murals, designer wallpaper, canvas prints, framed prints, posters, personalized wallpaper, own canvas prints, own framed prints, own posters (from your own images).

I was contacted by the company to see if I'd like to work with them to review one of their works of art. I must of spent at least an hour on the website looking through all the gorgeous masterpieces... they really do offer something for everyone.

My living room is mainly grey and red, so I knew that I wanted a black and white style canvas for behind my TV... big enough to take up a huge portion of the wall. When I finally found what I wanted, I selected the size and placed my order. I received a confirmation email right away, and the tracking email within 24 hours of placing the order. I had no idea what to expect, and was pleasantly surprised at how small the box was when it arrived. It was smart that the canvas wasn't already stretched... saves money on shipping, and prevents damage on the journey to your home.

Once the box was opened everything was properly wrapped for protection. It came with instructions on how to stretch the canvas... starting with building the frame. Since I went to an art school, stretching a canvas isn't new to me... didn't need instructions.

What I really liked about their product... the frame included sticky tape to help reinforce the strength and durability. Once the frame was put together, I wrapped and stretched the canvas to the frame. The beauty of the sticky tape truly helped make it a solid piece. When I went to pick it up and put it temporarily on top of my fireplace, I actually dropped it on the floor. It was solid and didn't break, nor did it warp in any way.

I decided to lean the art against the wall as a test behind the TV... just to make sure that I wanted it on that wall. I was super excited and happy of my choice. There were a few others that I had my eye on, but this really was the perfect fit for the room. So I got my hammer out, and gave it a home above my fireplace. It's the perfect work of art to help make an ugly TV look good in a modern living room.
