The Way Home DVD ~ Review

Based on a true story, a saga of a family, who in a blink of an eye their 2 yr old son goes missing while the father is to be watching him, and the mother is packing for a family vacation. In a desperate search they become overwhelm by the show of support from their neighbors and town, and realize that there are more people out there that love them and their family than they thought. Their Faith is tested but when the town gathers to help, their faith sees them through this ordeal to the end, their marriage is made stronger as a result and their Faith is strengthened as well.

The description of this movie caught my eye and the fact that it was based on a true story made it appealing. I have to say that I was quite disappointed in this movie. They could have done so much more, but it left me bored. I kept watching, hoping that something interesting would happen, but it never did. The scenes relied heavily on emotion, and the search through the woods. The acting felt fake at times, and wasn't believable.

I wont be watching this movie again... I can't believe I even watched the whole thing to the end.

I received a copy of The Way Home DVD, from BookSneeze, in exchange for my honest opinion, and a review of my experience. I did not receive any other compensation or incentive nor was I required to write a positive review. Individual results or experiences may vary.

I review for BookSneeze
